Eucharistic Octave 2026 & Corpus Christi Procession

We are delighted to once again be hosting the London Eucharistic Octave this year. The Octave will run from Saturday 30th May until Sunday 7th June. Each weekday that week, at 6:30pm, there will be a Mass according to the various rites and uses of the Catholic Church:

Saturday 30th May: 6pm – Sung Mass in English opening the Octave
Monday 1st June: 6:30pm – Missa Cantata in the Roman Rite
Tuesday 2nd June: 6:30pm – Mass in the Gheez Rite (Eritrean)
Wednesday 3rd June: 6:30pm – Divine Liturgy in the Ukrainian Catholic Liturgy of St John Chrysostom
Thursday 4th June: 6:30pm – Sung Mass in Latin opening the Quarant’Ore devotions
Friday 5th June: 6:30pm – Mass in the Ordinariate Use of the Roman Rite
Sunday 6th June: 6pm – Sung Mass in English closing the Quarant’Ore devotions
Sunday 7th June: 11am – Pontifical Sung Mass of Corpus Christi in Latin, followed by Procession. NB There is only one Mass this Sunday at 11am!

Quarant’Ore

The Annual Forty Hours’ Devotion runs from the 6:30pm Mass on Thursday 4th June until the close of the 6pm Mass on Saturday 6th June. During this time, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed:


Thursday 4th June: from the close of Mass until Midnight
Friday 5th June: 7am – Midnight
Saturday 6th June: 7am – close of 6pm Mass

Corpus Christi Procession

The Annual Corpus Christi Procession on 7th June this year is in two parts:

1) The first part departs from Maiden Lane at the end of the 11am Mass and will go through Central London to Warwick Street. On arrival at Warwick Street, there will then be a period of Adoration, and the opportunity to buy lunch locally from shops around Regent Street/Piccadilly.

2) The second part departs from Our Lady of the Assumption & St Gregory, Warwick Street, W1B 5LZ at 3:30pm, and processes to St James’s, Spanish Place via the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral. The Procession concludes with Benediction at St James’s, Spanish Place at approx. 5pm.
