Forty Hours Intentions

Quarant’Ore 2022

We are pleased to be able to be celebrating our annual Quarant’Ore from Thursday 16th June – Saturday 18th June! This year the Quarant’Ore coincides with the London Eucharistic Octave. For more information about the Octave, click here.

Whether you’re joining us online, or in the Shrine itself, you can have your intentions prayed for before the Blessed Sacrament, as well as have a lamp burning for your intentions by simply filling out either of the forms below. You can also volunteer to watch for an hour by using the form at the bottom of this page.

By filling out the forms below, you consent to your intentions being passed to the Rector to pray for them on your behalf. In the case of candles, your intention will be written on the candle. If you do not want your intention to be written on the lamps, please write ‘Private Intention’.

Burn a Candle

Have a 7-day lamp burning for your intentions in front of the Blessed Sacrament during Forty Hours by filling in the form below. Each candle costs £6. Donations can be made using the Give A Little button underneath the form.

Volunteer to watch for an hour

“Could you not stay awake with me one hour?” – Use the form below to sign up to spend an hour with the Blessed Sacrament (albeit via live stream). We may not be able to watch in person in the church, but that doesn’t mean our Lord should stand alone on the altar.
