Saturday 1st July is Canada Day, and as you will know, we are across the road from The Maple Leaf – the Canadian Pub. Anyone who has been in Maiden Lane on Canada Day in previous years will know that it is impossible to even walk down the road and the noise of the revellers is tremendous.
As such, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Vigil Mass on Saturday 1stJuly. There is a 6pm Vigil Mass at our neighbouring Parish of Ss Anselm & Cecilia on Kingsway, WC2A 3JA, which is a 10 minute walk from us and is next to Holborn Tube Station. Apologies – but it just would not be a heavenly experience!
