25th August is the Feast of St Genesius, the patron saint of actors, dancers, singers and comedians.
As the Catholic Actors’ Church in the heart of London’s Theatreland, we will be having a Mass in honour of St Genesius, offered for all those who work in the Performing Arts, both on stage as well as behind the scenes.
In a year that has seen theatres closed and many of those who work in the entertainment industry furloughed or made redundant, we will be praying especially for those whose livelihoods have been threatened, and come before the Lord to ask for his help as restrictions are gradually lifted.
There will be a Solemn Sung Mass at 6:30pm on Wednesday 25th August here at Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane, Covent Garden. All most welcome!
Those who can’t join us in person can watch the Mass via the live stream at maidenlane.org.uk/live
