Today is the feast of St Pius of Pietrelcina - Padre Pio.
The answer to the question: "Where do we find Jesus?" is given in the Book of Revelation in cryptic language. He tells us that the Lamb leads the great multitude of people from every culture and nation to the sources of living water. Without water, there is no life. People who lived near the desert knew this well, and so springs of water became for them the symbol par excellence of life.
Today is the feast of St Matthew. In the figure of Matthew, the Gospels present to us a true and proper paradox: those who seem to be the farthest from holiness can even become a model of the acceptance of God's mercy and offer a glimpse of its marvellous effects in their own lives.
A beautiful end to @catholiclondon 2021. The procession along Regent Street was very moving, and many stopped to see what was going on. A fantastic act of witness to our Eucharistic Lord!
Last night we had a Requiem Mass, offered for all those who have died from Covid-19 as part of @catholiclondon
